Jethro

DIY on the shed is still in progress (I can only do a section at a time as I need to wait until there's enough scrap wood at work to do the next bit!) but is coming along nicely, if somewhat 'rustic' in appearance!!
We have a few more residents that have come in over the last month or so. These are:
3 gerbils, a 22 year old cockatiel, 2 corn snakes and the latest addition to arrive at the weekend was Jethro..... a young black backed gull...... Steve named him, it had nothing to do with me, haha!

Jethro was hit by a car and I'm still not sure if he will be able to recover enough to be released yet. He has to be given a chance though and if his broken hip and wing will heal enough then we'll certainly do whatever we can for him to get him back out there. For now he seems quite content wobbling around the shed and is eating and drinking fine....the other end also works well - I forgot just how much mess large birds can make, especially ones that eat fish.... Nuff said!
